Hi!! My name’s Izak; I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades. I live and teach by a simple philosophy: A complete education is a well-rounded one driven by passion. For me, this meant finding a balance between my love for STEM, literature, drama, sport, and everything in between. It can be daunting to say the least, but I want to help! Graduating in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.40 as the Dux of my high school, I excelled in an odd mix of humanities and STEM subjects. I’m now studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and Economics at UQ while I occupy my spare time with writing, acting and Tae Kwon Do training. With years of tutoring and education experience (ranging from academic tutoring to science shows and martial arts), I have developed a method and style to call my own. I tailor my approach to match the individual, striving to find what inspires them and place their studies into that great big scary web we call “context”! Since graduating, I have tutored 25+ private clients in Math Methods, General English, Physics, Chemistry, English Literature, Study of Religion, and Economics. So, I am currently a first year student in Bachelor in Secondary Education dual degree with Science major in Applied maths and a minor in Chemistry. Hi! My name is Laura and I graduated from Gilroy Santa Maria College with Dux and an ATAR of 98.85. I am from a rural town in North Queensland and have moved to Brisbane to study a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Science at the University of Queensland. My hobbies include sport (cross country, swimming and rowing to name a few), reading and online shopping (if you can call that a hobby haha). I also love to cook and bake, especially my favourite foods! I remember the feeling after finishing my final year 12 exam, it was the true definition of a weight being lifted off your shoulders!
