I graduated from my high school as 2nd Dux with a 99.90 ATAR, and am currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine as a Chancellor’s Scholar at the University of Melbourne. Having accumulated 3 years experience of teaching, I am very capable of personalising my lessons to YOUR style of learning. My favourite subjects to teach are maths, physics and business studies. Online, I can write on a virtual whiteboard (using an iPad, so you know it'll be clear and legible!) to explain essential concepts and exam-style questions. Hi! My name is Cara Siren and I graduated in 2021 from Clayfield College in Brisbane! As Dux and Academic Captain of my school, learning and teaching has always been a significant part of my life. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine and hope to progress into the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne- I am majoring in biomedical engineering systems in my undergraduate degree. Throughout the entirety of secondary school, I thoroughly enjoyed studying STEM subjects but I also loved reading and writing in my spare time. I was also part of debating, peer tutoring, titration and two choirs. I have two and a half years of tutoring experience in science, mathematics and English. As your tutor, I would aim to assist you in every way that I can and truly try to inspire you to achieve your highest potential! My name is Mitch, and I'm glad I didn't scare you away with my incredibly natural profile pic! I'm currently studying the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne, after having finished my Bachelor of Biomedicine last year. For the record, if this is a career path you're currently interested in, I'm 100% your guy! Although I've decided to be a science nerd as a job, I've always had a strength for learning languages and writing. I was lucky enough to go on exchange to Bordeaux when I was younger, which inspired me to become a life-long learner of French. I would then go on to complete VCE French, before continuing my French education in university. Si tu cherches quelqu'un qui a une connaissance intime de la langue francaise, c'est moi ton premier choix! As for English, well, that's my jam. I suppose I don't really know why I've always been a naturally strong writer, other than perhaps the fact that I read a lot as a kid. Throughout my academic career I've always exceled in writing tasks, including my VCE English Language studies where I secured a raw 44. If you want a guy who can talk enthusiastically about analytical commentaries and societal linguistics for hours, I'm once again your guy. By now I'm sure you're probably bored to death of reading about me - you're nearly at the end! I consider myself a pretty chill person with a wide array of interests and who loves a good yarn. The way I usually describe it to people is, "if it's interesting, I'm interested."
