As a year 11 student doing ATAR, I was looking for a tutor that could help me with French. KIS Academics was incredibly helpful and fast at finding me a wace french tutor who could assist me with my studies. My tutor Eliza Carey over the past few months has helped me so much not only in French but in biology and maths as well. I’m incredibly grateful for the effort and commitment she has put into helping me be more comfortable and less stressed about the subjects I was having difficulty with. It’s been nothing but an honour to be tutored by Eliza and I strongly recommend her as a tutor
“I got the top mark for my SAC which was really nice, and I think that’s all because of my tutor”

“It's been absolutely fantastic and it's just been a very positive environment for learning”

Hi there! I'm James, and I graduated from Barker College in Sydney with a 97.6 ATAR. I finished the HSC with a 96 HSC mark in Advanced Maths as well as 46/50 in Extension Maths. I was also able to do a 10-month exchange in Japan before year 11, allowing me to connect with a super interesting and exciting culture and language, which enabled me to score Dux of the the school in Japanese Continuers. Throughout high school, I played around with so many different ways of revising and studying both individually and collaboratively, desperately trying to find the magic solution to success in the HSC. Whilst no instant solution exists, I have realised that having concepts explained to you in detail, and answering questions confidently, even if you are unsure, allows you to do the best you can. Nowadays, I spend my days studying Commerce/Engineering at ANU, hanging out with friends, playing golf, and waiting for winter to hit so I can put on my skis!
Hello there! I'm Daniel. I went to Shenton College and am currently studying Mathematical Sciences at the Australian National University. In high school, I found myself only studying the subjects I found interesting or was good at and neglected other subjects I found boring. It was only when I started working on my own computer science projects and university where I discovered more real applications that I became much more engaged in study. My goal is to bring a strong understanding learnt from my school experience, university and self-learning to make high school topics more interesting. To break free of the grind of textbook questions and mind-numbing note-taking and achieve your goals. At University, I split my time between pure and applied mathematics with machine learning and statistics thrown in, and some environmental modelling work on the side. In my free time you might find me browsing stack overflow trying to figure out why my programming project isn't working, doing a few sketches, binging sitcoms I've already seen or watching Lol esports. I am the developer and maintainer of RiotCpp, a c++ library designed to make accessing Riot Games' data easier for c++ users.
Hey everyone! My name is Sarah :) I graduated from The Hills Grammar School with an ATAR of 98.90, and positions on all HSC honour roles, including the All Rounder Award, Distinguished Achiever in all of my 11 units, and First in the State for Geography. I have been tutoring students ages 7 to 18 for 5 years in maths, geography, English, and Japanese. I offer interactive and engaging online sessions using Zoom as I am currently completing a Bachelor of Laws (Honours)/ Bachelor of Environmental Studies at the Australian National University in Canberra. I absolutely love tutoring and am truly dedicated to understanding the strengths, weaknesses, and learning style of each student I work with. I tailor each lesson specifically to the student's needs to ensure that the time we spend together is valuable in improving your confidence, results, and ability to meet your academic goals! I am an 'All-Round Tutor,' and hope not only to assist you in learning content, but also tackling your education journey as a whole. I am happy to discuss any other subjects you're struggling with, studying advice, and am available anytime to answer questions. Just shoot me a quick message! :) I am very experienced in teaching students of all ages, and learning abilities (including students who are neurodiverse)- allowing me to have developed a range of unique and engaging tutoring methods to ensure success!
