Hey there! My name is Serena. I graduated as the Music Captain and have obtained numerous subject awards throughout high school, including being the inaugural winner of the Dr Susan Stevens Principal Award in year 12. Throughout primary school and high school, I have always accelerated in subjects such as Music, Maths and Science subjects which inspired me to pick the subjects that I completed: Music Performance, Math Methods, Specialist Maths, Psychology, Chemistry and English. I aim to teach you using my experience and study skills obtained in high school. I have also been teaching music instruments, music theories, and subjects since I was in year 9. I am currently a biomedical science student at Monash. When I get a break, I love to practice my instruments and play with my dogs. I've got two toy poodles! Fun fact about myself, I actually play three instruments (Cello, Piano and the Harp) in which all of my instruments have either completed or currently working to complete my Licentiates or Fellowship degrees.

My name is Chloe Pedler and I graduated with an ATAR of 98.05, and throughout 2021 and 2022 I acquired a total of 7 Duxes at my school, including in further maths, legal studies, business management and history. I have recently finished year 12 and am looking to do a degree of Law/Philosophy, politics and economics. As well as using my experience developed through high school to assist you in improving your academics, i would also provide a mentorship with experiences as a school captain and a previous leader of a tutoring and mentoring program at my school. Enough about the boring stuff though!! I enjoy being active and playing a lot of sport including basketball and netball, and when I'm not playing sport, I'm baking or eating chocolate. Hi I'm Patrick Nguyen and year 12 S U C K E D. But tutoring made it suck less. I was fortunate enough to study under MASTERS of the VCE curriculum, tutors who had years of experience and made studying in year 12 a less gruelling and more efficient process. These are the tips I will be passing on as a tutor, along with study tricks and tips that can help with absorbing information and reducing burnout once exams come. I'm currently studying a Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne and in my first year of Science. During my time at university, I've worked as a tutor at my high school, whilst also working closely with friends and family who are going through year 12, experiences which have developed my skills as a teacher. Talking with such a wide variety of people who have or are currently doing year 12 have also allowed me to pass on tips which they have used to SHOOT through year 12 with flying colours. (When you REALLY think about it, you're getting a bunch of tutors in one!) When I'm not studying, I like to box, gym and play video games. I like to believe that I'm a pretty sociable person, finding value in all the different people and personalities I meet! The lessons I learnt throughout high school have shaped the way I think of the world and the goals I set for myself in the future, lessons which I want to share with those I teach!
