As a year 11 student doing ATAR, I was looking for a tutor that could help me with French. KIS Academics was incredibly helpful and fast at finding me a wace french tutor who could assist me with my studies. My tutor Eliza Carey over the past few months has helped me so much not only in French but in biology and maths as well. I’m incredibly grateful for the effort and commitment she has put into helping me be more comfortable and less stressed about the subjects I was having difficulty with. It’s been nothing but an honour to be tutored by Eliza and I strongly recommend her as a tutor
“I got the top mark for my SAC which was really nice, and I think that’s all because of my tutor”
Medha / Year 12 Student
“It's been absolutely fantastic and it's just been a very positive environment for learning”
Amanda / Parent of a Year 7 Student
My mantra - If you are not disciplined, you will lose to the one who gets up and gets his work done every day, regardless of how he is feeling. Hello! I'm Alex. I'm a mechanical engineering student who is also studying philosophy at the University of Adelaide. I believe it is my job to show you that maths and physics are the most interesting subjects in the world, and that once you truly understand it, you won't be looking at the world the same way (also to help you improve your grades at school and target any difficulties you are facing)! I used to be a semi-professional viola/violin player and have over 5+ years of teaching the hardest instrument ever under my belt and have recently directed my focus to teaching academic subjects. I am a believer in strong fundamentals in ANYTHING, be it maths, violin technique or sports and once these are nailed, your life in any realm will be easier, tenfold! Fear the man who practices one punch 10,000 times, a wise man once said. I spend my free time playing the violin, reading books, hanging out with loved ones, and staying up all night on Wall Street!
Hello, I'm JenuI - I graduated from Ballarat and Clarendon College with an ATAR of 99.85, completing with 48 and above raw study scores in Physics, Chemistry, Literature and Further Math. This includes a premier’s award for Further as well as extension math at RMIT with a perfect 4.0 GPA and a Vice Chancellor’s Award. However, my proudest school achievement is probably that my literature essay features in the 2022 Literature VCAA examination report. I have extensive leadership and interpersonal experience from being School Captain of Ballarat Clarendon College, Victoria's top performing school in 2022. Additionally, in my gap year this year, I spent time in the Royal Australian Air Force as a Cyberspace Warfare Officer, completing basic training there. I now manage a variety of mental health and life crises, as well as active suicide interventions, for Lifeline's 13 11 14 phone service -- probably the most fulfilling thing I have ever done. I believe in a wholistic approach with a focus on a healthy mindset alongside strong content knowledge and problem-solving skills. You will get both knowledge of your chosen subject as well as well as a new perspective on how to care for yourself and your capability in one of the most challenging periods of your life. I intend to pursue medicine next year and as such completed the UCAT with an above top 1% mark of 3330, scoring perfect 900s in QR and AR as well as 800 in DM and 730 in VR; I am willing to tutor this as well.
Hi, I am Vatsal and I enjoy working with students one-on-one and see them use the tricks and techniques to unlock their potential. Over the past year, I have been tutoring students one-on-one to help them achieve their desired goals. I developed a passion for teaching after seeing the joy and satisfaction experienced by students who were previously struggling at school. This led me to become a tutor to help others, build his confidence and experience with one-on-one tutoring. I have helped many students through my one-on-one tutoring sessions and given them an advantage over their peers. Whether you are looking to improve your grades or need that extra guidance, I have helped numerous students boost their grades and unlock their true potential. Vatsal hopes to keep tutoring long term to help as many students in need and set them up for success. I graduated high school with an ATAR of 99.7 and is currently studying Mechanical Engineering with a major in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Adelaide. Some of my hobbies include: cooking, working out at the gym and playing video games with friends.
