Joseph
Hi there!!!! Study, study, study…It sometimes feels like a never-ending chore doesn’t it? My name is Joseph George, and I understand high school can sometimes be tough. Having already experienced the struggles of high school, I understand not only the hardships of study, but also ways to study smarter and more effectively. Whilst at times studying in Year 12 did feel constant chore, I felt that finding support from teachers and tutors who understood my character and way of learning helped me progress and find joy in studying, and I hope to help future generations the same way.
I completed the IB program in high school and am well aware of how stressful study and schoolwork can be from time to time. Throughout high school, I have tutored students of various different ages, from Year 1 to Year 11, and for me, I believe teaching students according to their strength and the learning style is what leads to improvement. High school taught me not only how to learn, but how to teach, and I hope to use my experience in high school to help students reach their potential. Moreover, I hope to inspire future generations to chase their dreams, and I believe with hard work and a little bit of help, anyone can reach for the stars.
In university I am studying and Engineering-Law double degree at Monash University, and in my spare time enjoy playing soccer, chess and tennis with friends. I also have a strong passion for reading and writing. In my opinion, the best tutors try to understand their student as learners and people, and try to personalise their learning journey based on their strengths and weaknesses, and I will always aspire to do this.
