You will essentially be starting a company within the company with all our current resources and backing.You’ll have access to our entire current content library, a generous budget and an huge team of world-class tutors to help you set up the content division of KIS Academics and create a content powerhouse.

As the Head of Content at KIS Academics, you will turn KIS into a leading educational publishing powerhouse in 2025. You will be starting and running an entire division of the company from scratch. Yes, it's daunting, but we'll be supporting you the entire way

This dynamic role combines resource creation, quality assurance, and strategic development, ensuring that KIS Academics delivers unparalleled educational content to students, tutors, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Development:

• Design, develop, and refine textbooks, question books, English text analysis materials, practice exams, and video solutions, branded to KIS Academics’ elite standard.
• Utilise the KIS network of tutors to recruit team members and experts to assist in the development of new materials (no, you’re not expected to write all the content yourself!)
• Innovate new resource formats and leverage cutting-edge tools, such as AI, to enhance content quality and efficiency.
• Revamp existing KIS Plus resources, elevating them to a superior standard and aligning them with the elite branding of KIS Academics.
  

Strategic Vision:

• Lead the transformation of KIS Academics into a premier publishing entity by curating and developing a top-tier content portfolio.
• Explore and implement research-driven strategies to improve the structure, format, and utility of resources, ensuring they exceed industry standards.
  

Quality Assurance and Oversight:

• Maintain exceptional quality control across all content, ensuring resources support outstanding lesson outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with tutors to align resources with lesson goals, enhancing the overall educational experience.
  

Market Expansion:

• Determine and execute a go-to-market strategy to capitalise on the resources and content you create, integrating with our current offerings and exploring selling this content to individual customers and/or organisations
• Develop resources that appeal to external agencies, companies, and individuals, contributing to revenue growth and brand recognition.
• Position KIS Academics’ resources as a key driver for attracting and retaining top talent among tutors.
  

Innovation and Research:

• Stay informed about trends, tools, and methods in educational content creation to ensure continuous improvement and differentiation in the market.
• Experiment with emerging technologies to create adaptive and cutting-edge educational solutions.

➡️ Previous experience in strategy roles or startup roles

➡️ Previous experience creating educational content - textbooks, guides, notes, videos, courses, etc.

➡️ Previous experience selling content to organisations and schools

➡️ Previous publication experience, editing experience or publications

➡️ Teaching qualifications or experience as a tutor

➡️ Previous experience/portfolio in design or product development

➡️ Previous experience in marketing or sales

➡️ By far the biggest benefit of this role is how much you'll learn (this will be worth more than any amount of money we could ever pay you!)

➡️ Salary is variable but expect approximately $60,000 - $80,000 base per year (excl. Super + Leave entitlements) + generous bonus structure (20K-50K). There is room for negotiation. We're very transparent about what we budget for roles like this, but final salary will likely be determined after you've completed the entire interviewing process, in discussion with you.
