You are ideally a high performance, channel-agnostic growth marketer with a highly generalised skillset who can creatively acquire customers at scale.

We're looking for someone hungry to work on challenging problems and really dedicate themselves to growing KIS into the biggest education company in Australia.

This role will be full time and require you to really squeeze as much out of your work-day as possible, so efficiency and an 80/20 approach to your work is key.

We believe that marketing is equal parts science and art.

You need to come up with creative approaches to growth and be willing to experiment and learn new things

Then you need to put your analytical hat on and dig deep into the data to find out what's generating results.

You'll become a master at both of these aspects and have a dedicated team to help you and resource your marketing goals.

We're ideally looking for someone with Growth Marketing experience and has worked at other startups. We want someone who is obsessive about optimising ads, website conversions and creatives. You should be:

➡️ A curious generalist. We're not looking for someone who's a veteran at a single platform. You should be fluid and agnostic - able to apply core marketing fundamentals and psychology to any platform or campagin you encounter.

➡️ Someone OBSESSED with advertising, marketing and analytics. You're the kind of person who has watched Mad Men 4 times and screenshots good Instagram ads to analyse later

➡️ Someone familiar with building high converting email marketing funnels and landing pages. You should ideally have experience with email marketing tools (such as Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, Hubspot) and website designer tools(webflow, wix, html/css) or be willing to learn and learn fast. (once again, we don't expect you to join us knowing everything, but you should be willing to learn and improve)

➡️ Someone who knows how to dig into the data on platforms (ie. GA4, Mixpanel, PostHog, Semrush, AHREFs, Search Console, etc.)

➡️ Someone who can write clearly and effectively. KIS has a great blog that attracts a lot of brilliant writers and readers.

➡️ Someone who loves creating content across any platform. If you've made some viral Tiktok's in the past, all the better!

➡️ Being familiar with paid advertising is also highly recommended (ie. Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tiktok)

➡️ If you've worked on any PR campaigns or media drops, we'd love to learn more as well!

As you can read from the above, there's a lot of areas we want our ideal applicant to be interested in.

But the key here is we don't expect you to be a specialist at all of these!

Your key skillset should be growth fundamentals - understanding consumer psychology then being creative enough to unlock and measure which channels are the best, and doubling down on them.

If you've worked in Growth roles at an early stage Startup before, you'll intuitively understand exactly the type of work you'll be doing.

➡️ Salary is highly variable and will be based on applicant quality and experience, but expect approximately $60,000 - $100,000 base per year (excl. Super + Leave entitlements) + generous bonus structure (20K-50K). There is room for negotiation. We're very transparent about what we budget for roles like this, but final salary will likely be determined after you've completed the entire interviewing process, in discussion with you.
