I'm not going to lie to you. Chemistry is tough. Really tough. It's so tough that the majority of students who sit the exam sit it with no hope at all. They've already given up.
The odds are stacked up against you at no fault of your own. You can pester your teacher. You can buy textbook after textbook and answer question after question. But in this subject, none of that guarantees success.
How do I know? I can tell you from experience.

Hey there, I’m Alex! I graduated from Fort Street High School with a 99.45 ATAR, and am now studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine, having received the National Merit Scholarship from the University of Melbourne.
I get it – Chemistry is hard! From unfamiliar and tricky concepts to questions in the exam you feel like you never covered in class, Chemistry can be a truly daunting subject. Despite this though, I believe that with some quality guidance and hard work, every single student has the potential to conquer this subject.
I’ve made this course because I want to share the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my years as both a student and a tutor, as to mentor anyone who is committed to improving their understanding and application of HSC Chemistry. Throughout my Chemistry studies, I have devised a series of frameworks and routines that have helped me answer many of the questions you can expect on your own exams, which I have shared with you throughout the course. So, if you’re interested in supplementing your classroom learning with extensive coverage of all HSC topics while learning the best ways to tackle exam-style questions, I look forward to seeing you in this course!
