Hi! I’m Sophia Yang. I’m currently studying Economics and Law at the University of Sydney, spend all my money on food, and am determined to live the happiest life possible. 

Honestly, I thought I wouldn’t even get through the HSC without forgetting everything I learned in the past 6 years. I did not like to study. I strongly disliked it. I felt like high school exams were the absolute bane of my existence, so how did I get here??? 

I ended up graduating with a 99.80 ATAR as dux of year 12. Before that, I just floated through school thinking studying was the hardest thing ever. In reality, I just didn’t know how to study properly. After figuring out what worked for me, and making the process of studying enjoyable for myself (hard to believe but true), my confidence in my own work shot up. Instead of giving up after my mistakes, I started to realise they were easily avoidable, laughed at them for a reasonable amount of time, and then kept going. If you feel like studying is a bit of a chore right now, we were in the same boat. I hope to make learning fun and simple for students too!
