Tom
Hey there! My name is Tom and I'm a firm believer that people learn the best when they are having fun. As much as high school years are some of the most important years of a person's life, it should also be a time of enjoyment. Hence I will strive to be a tutor where students look forward to their lessons and are able to have a little bit of fun, as well as hopefully making strides in their own learning.
I graduated Year 12 with an ATAR of 98.9 and particularly enjoyed studying the Mathematics subjects, as well as Physics and Chemistry. Physics in particular is a subject I am very passionate about and that is reflected in what I'm now studying at university: a double Bachelors degree of Engineering (Honours) and Philosophy (Honours) where I plan on majoring in Chemical Engineering and Frontier Physics.
When it comes to life outside of school, I am an avid cricketer (I play as well as coach) who loves talking about anything related to cricket. I am also a massive Hawthorn fan, and love cycling as well. Additionally, I really enjoy my music as well, being both a Trombonist and Pianist.
High school years were some of the most enjoyable and rewarding years of my life and I'd love to be able to pass on all I've learnt and help your child get the best they can out of themselves.
