My name is Shanna, and I am one of the KIS tutors in QLD. I graduated from high school in 2022 and have since completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Griffith University, and this year, I started my Doctor of Medicine Studies - woohoo!

I'm used to juggling all my studies around a schedule packed with extracurricular activities, so I have plenty of tips and tricks for improving time management and creating healthy study habits. Throughout this medicine application process, I have also sat the UCAT and GAMSAT and done plenty of interview prep, so if you are a student considering the medical path, I can definitely answer your questions.
I have quite a lot of tutoring experience, covering Science, Maths and English for all age groups, as well as some 1st-year university science subjects and GAMSAT Section 3. Because of this, I have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds on a variety of topics. You might be struggling with understanding content, applying what you know to different question types, trying to perfect your exam prep skills, or making the most out of your assignments - I've been there, and I can help.
Aside from studies and academics, I love spending time in nature with my friends. Whether we are on a hike, reading a book at the beach, or running around the neighbourhood, I am definitely happiest when surrounded by people I love, outside in the sunshine.
