Hi there, I’m Sarah! I’m currently studying a Flexible Double Degree of Law and International Security at the Australian National University and I would absolutely love to be your tutor!

I would describe myself as a very curious, passionate, and open-minded individual who is always keen to learn and tackle any challenges that come my way with strategy and determination.

As a recent high-school graduate, I know exactly how overwhelming and intimidating the system can be, and how at times, you simply want to give it all up. This is how I felt in Year 11, when I truly struggled with my first ¾ VCE subject, Mathematical Methods, and failed to achieve the result I yearned for. For a brief moment, I thought my journey of academic excellence was over and that my final year of schooling would take me down a similar path, however I was able to reflect, reset and enter this crucial year with a fresh, balanced mindset. The product of this renewed approach was an ATAR of 99.8 and a perfect 50 study score in English, achievements I never dreamed would be possible!

As your tutor, my mission is to help you accomplish whatever academic and personal goals you hold to be most important, and to assist you in working towards a fulfilling balance between leisure, self-care, and learning. Whatever your hobbies may be, you should never let them go, as they bring you true happiness and provide a much-needed source of rest and relaxation throughout your educational journey. Personally, I adore baking delicious, sweet treats, going out for dinner with my friends, watching the TV series Succession or simply going on a walk whilst listening to some French music in my free time :)

I promise, studying does not always have to be a gruelling, repetitive process of unrelenting pressure and stress! I’m here to show you how it can alternatively be a unique, rewarding experience when you shift your mindset and focus on your authentic passion for your subjects instead of unhealthy and unrealistic desires to achieve the perfect grade no matter the sacrifice.

It is my hope that, by guiding you to become a curious and innovative learner, you will come to wholeheartedly value your educational experience and consequently be able to unlock your full potential in both your studies and personal life!
