Hello, Guys! 👋
Hi! My name is Sam, and I’m here to help you reach your academic goals. My tutoring style is focused yet friendly, and I care just as much about how you learn as what you learn. You’ll not only correct mistakes and master content—you’ll build a deep, intuitive understanding of core concepts so that learning becomes more than just memorising content for the next test.
I was homeschooled from primary school to junior high school, which meant taking charge of my own learning from a young age. Teaching myself content taught me how to learn independently, and that’s a skill I now prioritise with my students. Since I’ll only see you one day a week, I want you to walk away with the confidence and tools to excel on your own.
In Year 9, I transitioned into mainstream schooling, where I continued to thrive academically while staying active in extracurriculars like soccer, cadets, chess club, and house leadership. One of my proudest achievements was becoming a world champion in the international neuroscience competition Brain Bee.
I’m now studying a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) in Frontier Physics and Mathematics at the University of Western Australia, with aspirations to pursue research in theoretical physics. Outside of study, I love spending time with friends and playing board games.
I’m excited to support you on your learning journey and help you build the skills to succeed.
