Hi! My name is Neel and I recently graduated from Normanhurst Boys High School in 2023.
Having just completed and excelled the HSC I understand the mental and academic pressure that the HSC places on a person, especially considering the challenges of a new HSC syllabus.
Currently, I am offering specialised tutoring in the following subjects:
- HSC / Preliminary Economics
- HSC / Preliminary Physics
- HSC / Preliminary Math Standard + Math Adv / Ext 1
- Junior Maths + Science + History + Commerce

📌 TEACHING PHILOSOPHY 📌
(Note classes will be via ZOOM / SKYPE where classes can be recorded and played back to further deepen the student's understanding of each topic)
Identify their weaknesses in particular subject areas through examining teacher feedback, homework and consultation.
Create personalised strategies to proactively address these weaknesses and avoid careless mistakes or key errors in future assessments.
Ensure that the student is practising applying these techniques through questions and revision sessions
Promote conceptual understanding as opposed to rote learning!
Finding an ideal balance between guidance and self-directed learning to prevent students from either being overly spoon-fed or being overwhelmed by a vast quantity of study material.
In order for tutoring to be genuinely effective, the student must take initiative himself. I will focus on trying my best to develop this initiative to facilitate academic success.

For my lessons, I use a combination of textbooks, my own resources and resources that I create personalised for the needs of the student. I also have plenty of notes and study tips/skills and having just graduated, I am also extremely familiar with the syllabus and content for the subjects I teach.
