Hey!! I’m Michaela and I’m here to make study a little easier for you.
Throughout school I was obsessed with getting good marks and doing well. It wasn’t until my later years that I realised this obsession was becoming unsustainable and, at times, very stressful. So I revised my study patterns to make school and studying something that I actually enjoyed… and even looked forward to!
This new study routine was all about being as productive as possible… maximising grind time so I could also enjoy doing the things I loved (guilt free): going to the beach, seeing friends, online shopping, watching netflix!
As a tutor, I’ll be here to guide you through this approach, whilst supporting you with course content and answering any specific questions that you may have along the way. We will focus on setting lots of little goals so you can realise your final big goal! This mindset made school a lot less daunting for me and I’m sure it will for you too.
I have continued to practice this mindset at uni, where I study Commerce/ Law at the ANU. Making sure I am productive with my time means that study never ‘takes over’ and I can always enjoy a night out (or more likely a night in, binging my current fave series).
