Hello, Guys! 👋
Hello! My name is Matthew, and I am a graduated Biomedical Science student who received an IB score of 40 (97.9 ATAR). I am a tutor from Victoria and am currently teaching several years 11 and 12 VCE students that were getting D’s and C’s to now A’s and A+. I would also love to mentor IB students as well!
In my spare time, I seriously love going out with my friends and family whether it be to play sports, get buff at the gym, or explore different ethnic cuisines. I would never sacrifice any of these experiences as they are valuable to who I am. As a result, I advocate a balance between work and life to ensure that you enjoy life concurrently throughout the academic rigours of school. I would love to teach you how to do this because that’s how you live a happy and fulfilling life!
I am determined to improve the lives of my students because I believe the most important gift you can give to anyone is your service and a fellow ear, as these two aspects create a deep and ever-lasting connection between two people. What I will do:
- Not only be your tutor but a mentor and a friend who is open to hearing about any struggles and tribulations
- Having researched for hours on end and invested approximately $10,000 in online courses for productivity. I have learnt from cutting-edge research combined with extensive testing from myself and other students
- Show you how to handle content, and produce amazing scores in exams, SACs, or IA's and EE's, with detailed feedback for definite improvement
- I had to balance several sports teams in and outside of school, house captaincy, and have gone to several high schools (including having to move in year 11 during the pandemic). I am happy to share all my experiences in the academic, but also social realm of school.
