Hello!
My name is Lucy, and I’m a tutor in French, Maths and English at KIS Academics.
I’ve always been passionate about learning and acquiring new skills, and I know that classroom-style learning just doesn’t suit everyone. It can be difficult to study on your own, especially without a solid understanding of what’s being discussed in class, and without developing good study skills and habits.
My goal as a tutor is to provide tailored sessions that help you feel confident about your learning and understanding, while also sharing the study strategies that helped me excel throughout high school and into university.
I achieved excellent grades across the board, but my standout scores were a raw 49 in French and a raw 48 in English. I have experience with tutoring, and I am committed to helping you succeed by providing you with useful resources, relevant advice and general support.
I’m currently completing a double degree in Law and Languages, and I’m very passionate about both! I studied French and Chinese in Year 12, and have also begun learning Spanish at university.
In my free time, I love to read novels, play the guitar, sing, and spend time with my friends and family.
