Hi, I’m Joy! I’m a law student at UNSW with a passion for helping students unlock their full academic potential. I graduated from Baulkham Hills Selective High School as an all-rounder with an ATAR of 99.65.
Having navigated exam seasons myself, I know they can be daunting. That’s why my approach focuses on 🌟tangible improvement🌟—building confidence and preparation to avoid last-minute cramming 📚
With my years of tutoring experience, I know that every student is unique, so I tailor my teaching style and content on a lesson-by-lesson basis to fit your/your child’s needs. Whether it’s accelerating ahead of school content to get a competitive edge, or dedicating a lesson to mastering precise topic sentences in English, I’ll work with you to target your weaknesses and turn them into strengths.
During my HSC, I achieved top results in Legal Studies (96), Maths Extension 1 (96), and Business Studies (95), but still found time for my hobbies of video editing and cinematography as well as duties as a Prefect. I've developed tips to work smarter not harder to free up time whilst still academically excelling, and am excited to pass these strategies onto you.
As a recent graduate I know the syllabus I teach inside and out and can help you understand not only the content and how to apply it - but also what markers are looking for.
