👩🎓 Hi, I’m Helena I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University
📚 Throughout my academic journey, I’ve come to understand that learning is rarely a straightforward process. It’s one filled with challenges (especially in recent years with the disruptions caused by COVID). While schools introduce us to new content, it doesn’t always mean we’ve fully grasped it, often leaving us to spend extra hours at home relearning material (… been there, done that). Which, let’s be honest, doesn't really help since that’s what we were meant to learn in class anyway.
🎯 As a tutor, I recognise that everyone learns differently, with unique strengths, challenges, and preferred styles. I believe that teaching isn’t just about knowing the content— it’s about being able to communicate it clearly, in a way that makes sense to each student. I strive to be an attentive, patient tutor, and through a supportive environment, I hope to clarify difficult concepts, encourage deeper thinking, and guide you as both a tutor and supportive mentor!
⛳️ Outside of uni and work, I like to explore new cafes and spend time outdoors! So whether you’re looking to build confidence in a subject, get ahead in class, or work towards achieving top marks, I look forward to being part of your VCE journey and supporting you in reaching your goals!!!
