Hey! I’m Georgie. I’m currently studying Finance and Financial Mathematics at the University of Sydney, with a Chemistry minor. At school I did three sciences, economics, maths, calculus and English, and I even did Latin until Year 12.
I did NCEA in New Zealand, and I’m big on extension because it genuinely works. I finished high school maths two years ahead and got top marks (all Excellences), so I know what it looks like to move past the “just pass” level and into the stuff that actually makes you stand out. I’m really good at finding the next step for each student and pushing you just enough so you improve fast without feeling overwhelmed.
Outside of uni, I’m a half marathon runner and I love anything sporty. That’s why my tutoring style is super efficient: if you want to do as well as possible in the least amount of time (because you’d rather be outside playing sport or hanging with friends), we’ll get along perfectly.
I’m friendly, patient, and I genuinely love working with younger students (I’ve got lots of little cousins and I love hanging with kids). If you want someone who’s chill but will still help you level up fast, I’m your person.
