My name is Evan and if you wish there was a way to make study as interesting as you find the subject, I get it!
I have to admit, I'm a bit of a nerd, but even though that means I've always found learning enjoyable and engaging, it definitely doesn't mean I've always found study equally so. Finding out that there are actually ways to make study rewarding and even enjoyable was the end result of trial and plenty of error, but luckily for you, I can help you skip the mistakes and wasted energy!
A little bit about me for context: I'm studying a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Psychology at ANU, and I want to become a teacher down the track. I think that my degrees reflect my many academic passions: I've always had a particular affinity for chemistry and biology, but my passion for English led me down the rabbit hole of psychology at the end of highschool, and so here I am now. Outside of university, I cook, sing, play guitar and do way too much sport.
As I mentioned earlier, I am a total nerd, which is partly what makes me a good tutor for students who want to unlock a more engaging style of study: my incurable enthusiasm is just programmed to look for the fun in everything. I'm a very relaxed tutor, and I love to build a good relationship with my students based on a shared enthusiasm for the subject (or at the very least the shared experience of banging your head against the textbook).
