Hi, My name is Emma, and I am here to help you unlock new heights of potential in your high school journey!

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) at the University of Sydney and majoring in English. I love reading short stories and painting, but I also enjoy writing essays; we all have a duality of creative and analytical abilities, something I focus on drawing out in my teaching.

I have experience tutoring students who are struggling with their course work by implementing structures and techniques that improve upon the foundational skills of the subject they are undertaking. I have also worked with students who take Advanced and Extension subjects, pushing their ordinary way of thinking and writing as to advance their skills and improve their ranking.

So you can glean some of my strengths, my highest scores were in English Extension 1 (49), English Extension 2 (47) and Visual Arts (97).

I believe that as a tutor it is my responsibility to learn who my student is and tailor my lessons to their personality and academic needs. I also have developed strategies for tackling exam anxiety and can offer guidance for managing the pressures of high school.
