Daniel
Hi, my name is Daniel and I’m doing my PhD in Immunology at the University of Queensland. I graduated high school as College Captain and Dux with an ATAR of 99.95, and I was recognised as a QCAA Distinguished Academic Achiever, placing me in the top 30 students in Queensland. Throughout my whole high school life, I maintained an exceptionally high level of commitment to extra-curricular activities (including soccer, guitar, theatre and community service) whilst also managing my time effectively to study and achieve top grades. All of this hard work and success paid off when I was awarded with the Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship to study at UQ. I’m really passionate about sharing my experiences to help other students pursue their interests whilst also succeeding academically!
I recently completed my Bachelor of Advanced Science (majoring in Biomedical Science) at UQ with perfect grades (GPA 7). I’ve also sought out opportunities beyond my regular classes that have kickstarted my scientific career, having published a scientific paper as first author in my third year of undergraduate studies. I’m now researching immunology in liver disease in a top laboratory at UQ, and I have loads of tips and tricks to set yourself apart from the rest of your cohort just like I’ve done.
Just a few years ago, I was sitting where you sit now, dreaming about achieving my goal of being a medical researcher. With a little bit of hard work, refined study skills and an understanding of what it takes to succeed, I’m now living my dream, and I’m certain that I’ll be able to help you achieve your dreams. After over five years of experience in private tutoring, I’ve learned how to help students achieve their best through personally curated learning experiences. No matter what your reason to choose tutoring, my mentorship and tutoring know-how is exactly what you need to take your academic success to the next level.
