Hi there! I'm Lottie, and I may or may not be a total nerd. Nah, just kidding. While I did manage to get a score of 98.8, my year 12 experience was actually fuelled by the completely arbitrary goal of beating my older siblings' ATARS. That, and unreasonable personal standards. I succeeded, (yay!), but not without struggle. It was a challenge to find my study groove, or to even study in the first place. I love learning, but I had to learn to love the grind, too. Thankfully, I figured it out. I'm now studying History and English at Melbourne University, with plans to do a Master of Teaching afterwards. Ergo, I'm actually pretty into learning. With my full 13 years of education, I’ve definitely figured a thing or two out about effective studying. I’ve also learned a thing or two about failure and growth as a student, meaning I can not only help you achieve your school goals, but learn how to make the best of a bad mark or essay! Whilst I am a passionate Literature enjoyer, I definitely understand that many people struggle in English. My philosophy, though, is that English is for everyone –– and not just because we’re forced to do it in VCE. No matter your propensity for reading, spelling, essay writing or analysis, I am very passionate about helping you achieve an English mark you are proud of. Hopefully, I teach you some important skills that will carry into higher education, too! French is a tricky subject that I understand the pains of all too well. However, with the right ways of studying it doesn’t have to be so gruelling and can almost be fun. There’s lots of different ways to learn another language; we can find the way that’s right for you! When I’m not reading and writing, though, I like to paint, play social netball and doom scroll on TikTok.
