Hi! My name is Ben! I recently graduated with an ATAR of 99.15, and numerous merits in Chemistry, Psychology, and English, among others. Currently, I am studying an Advanced Bachelor of Science (Honours) at Adelaide University, where I maintain a 7.0 GPA.

Year 12 was a tough year for me. From running tutoring sessions for my peers to getting a double ear infection during exams, and mourning the loss of a close family member who died just before those same exams, I've experienced just how overwhelming SACE can be.
But, I've also persevered through that overwhelm; and in so doing, I developed strong study skills. In fact, for the strong results these allowed me to achieve, in spite of my chaotic year, I was awarded the Governor's Commendation for Excellence. It's these study skills which I intend to pass onto my students—so that no matter what life throws their way, they can still smash their academic goals, with time to spare for friends and family.
As a STEM major aiming to become a university professor, I pride myself on my ability to break down complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. However, what I care most about goes beyond the hour a week I spend with my students. This is the mentoring, the motivating, and the study skills, which help my students long after their exams are over.
