Hello, Guys! 👋

Hi there! My name is Anvi and I'm super excited to be tutoring this year! First, here's a little bit about me. I graduated high school with an ATAR of 99.6 and really enjoyed English, Maths and French (which is why I'm tutoring them!) and now I'm studying Medicine at Monash University. Outside of studies I like to hang out with friends, play some piano and play with my dog and two birds.

Now a bit about my experience and how I'll use it to help you! High school definitely can be challenging as there are so many things to juggle: school, homework, sports, music and having fun, but from my experience I can tell you it's doable. Having successfully balanced my studies with extracurriculars (debating and leadership), I know how I can help you develop great time management and organisational skills so that you don't have to give up on fun just to do well at school. For younger students, I hope to use my experience in high school to help set you up well for your transition either into high school or into VCE.

Academically speaking, as a tutor I'll break things down into smaller steps and find new and fun ways to teach you the content, so that you not only understand the content but also enjoy learning it. I'll use a range of resources such as slides, in-class questions and discussions to help you out but at the end of the day we'll use studying methods that work for you. I also hope to motivate you and help you unlock your full potential and succeed in school :)
