Hi! I’m Amir, a medical student based in Brisbane with a strong passion for Maths and Science. I primarily tutor QCE Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, Chemistry, Physics, English and Japanese. Having completed high school myself, I understand how intense and overwhelming the senior years can feel — especially when juggling assignments, internal exams, and externals all at once.

What sets me apart as a tutor is that I teach strategy. In medical school, I’ve learned how to study efficiently and break down complex concepts. My goal is to help students truly understand the “why” behind the maths and science, rather than just memorising steps. When students build deep understanding, their confidence naturally improves, which I also believe is a core factor in performance.
Outside of study and tutoring, I enjoy going to the gym, staying active, and continuously learning about health and performance. I’m a big believer in discipline, consistency, and having a structured plan — especially during Year 11 and 12.
In my sessions, students can expect clear explanations, exam-focused practice, honest feedback, and a supportive environment. I work closely with my students to identify weaknesses, refine exam technique, and build the confidence needed to achieve strong ATAR results.
