Hello, Guys! 👋

Hi, I’m Alan! I recently completed Year 12 with an ATAR of 99.60, achieving top scores in Specialist Maths (raw 41) and Methods (raw 44). I’m passionate about helping students not only achieve excellent results but also develop a genuine understanding and enjoyment of Maths, all without sacrificing the extracurriculars that are important to them.

I seek to acomplish this by breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and tailoring my teaching to each student’s learning style. I focus on efficiency and effectiveness, rather than the brute-force slog that is endless homework and practice. Outside of my own studies, I enjoy kayaking and playing piano, and have thus far managed to maintain aforementioned hobbies without sacrificing my academics.

Next year, I’ll be studying a Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial Studies) alongside a Diploma of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Melbourne.
