Hello! I’m Akanksha, and I’m currently studying a Doctor of Medicine at Monash University. I hope you’re just as excited as I am to start our learning journey together! I completed Year 12 in South Australia and graduated as the Dux of Wilderness School. With 4 SACE subject merits in Mathematical Methods, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, I have a deep understanding of some of the most difficult subjects in the SACE curriculum.
Keeping it real, at some points I felt like I was drowning in my own tears in Year 12, doing 6 subjects at once along with UCAT preparation. As someone who loves watching Netflix or baking and making a mess of my kitchen, slogging away for hours at my desk was the last thing that I wanted to do. That’s why I developed effective study strategies to be as efficient as possible, keeping my focus on high yield concepts which helped me become a top scorer. I would love to help you do the same, by teaching you my tips and tricks on how to make the most out of every minute you spend studying, how to structure exam answers (often marks are awarded for structure/key words over understanding!) and excel at subjects that you may not naturally be gifted at.
Having tutored high school students over the past 3 years with a range of abilities and learning goals, I understand the importance of individualised learning. So, I tailor my tutoring style to each specific student, and adjust my pace and style of explaining concepts as per your needs.
Outside of work and uni, I’m a huge foodie- from cooking to cafe hopping, I love it all. I actually run a food blog where I share all my adventures. I also enjoy hitting the beach or exploring Melbourne’s beautiful walking trails on the weekends. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions!
Unfortunately, Akanksha is currently at full capacity and unable to take on new students at this time.
We'll notify you as soon as Akanksha becomes available again.
