Hello, Guys! 👋
Hey there, I'm Natalie, but you can call me Nat! I graduated high school in 2025 and was awarded the Dux of Investigator College with a raw ATAR of 97.95, an adjusted ATAR of 99.15 and a Merit in English Literary Studies. I was ranked top of my class in Biology, Psychology and English Lit, having received multiple SACE subject awards. I was also the recipient of the Australian Defence Force 2025 Future Innovators Award, as well as The See Optometry Award, for my achievements as a young woman in STEM. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and doing anything and everything artistic. I also love being outside and, having grown up on the coast, I'm especially in love with the ocean. So, it is no surprise that I have chosen to study a Bachelor of Science (Marine Biology) at university. So, why learn with me? I became a tutor to explore my lifelong passion for educating and share my enthusiasm for learning with both primary and secondary students. I understand being engaged and inspired is fundamental to academic excellence, so I wish to share my expertise in productive studying to help future graduates flourish. My role as a tutor is to not just force students to memorise content because, while knowing information is definitely important, I know encouraging a healthy attitude toward studying, asking questions and making mistakes will serve them well into the future. I also work extensively to form positive relationships with my students, so our sessions are as enjoyable as possible. Learning should be empowering and rewarding, so I am dedicated to adapt my teaching to suit each individual's unique needs, interests and learning style. That way, all student can experience the incredible sense of pride and confidence that comes from walking out of that last exam room, knowing they gave school their all. Through employing my knowlegde of the SACE curriculum and my prior experience in tutoring, I aim to simplify complicated concepts and tasks, so my students can waste less time stressing and spend more time appreciating the many joys of being in school. Thank you so much and I look forward to working with you!
