I have Alice Xu as my IB Chemistry tutor as it was my weakest subject and it has been an amazing experience so far. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and the sweetest which has made me actually look forward to our lessons and to learn chemistry. She has helped me so much in only a short period of time but she’s made me feel so much more confident and helped me understand topics I have struggled with in an easy way.

I have been tutored by Alice Xu for the past year, and have seen not only my results improve, but also my confidence develop. She is kind, patient and conscientious, creating her own summary documents that have helped me at times more than my own class teacher. She worked tirelessly to support me in my IA, and was always available to answer my questions. Because of Alice, I started looking forward to Bio lessons at school, so that I could tell her what I'd learnt, and looking forward to our tutoring sessions, because she was so welcoming to any question, even ones that weren't specifically test based and just out of curiosity!

My daughter wasn't enjoying school, and was coming home sad, as she was struggling in maths and science. I engaged Emerald Maddy a few months ago, and within a few weeks my daughter was back to her old self. Her grades have gone up from a D, to nearly a B in only 1 term. My daughter always looks forward to her sessions with Emerald, and is a happier person because of her. Thank you Emerald, you are doing a great job, and I only wish I got you to help us out sooner. For anyone reading this, I highly recommend hiring Emerald if your child is struggling in Maths, Science, or any of the other subjects that she offers help with.
