Zara
Hi! My name is Zara and I was the type of person in high school to have every highlighter colour... including the pastels. For me, I loved learning the most when I could personalise my goals and reach them at my own pace, so now I want to do the same for you!
I graduated as the Vice Captain of my high school and received the QCAA Highest Achievement in the Humanities award for my subject grades. This meant that I wrote a lot of essays and pretty much mastered my formula for getting the best results without losing my lifestyle, which I now hope to pass on to you! What's more, the amount of reading I had to do throughout high school is definitely helping me through studying Law at UQ.
Throughout school, English and Humanities were always my favourite subjects, so I worked hard to understand exactly what was required to get the best results while cutting out all of the confusing jargon. In my tutoring experience, I am passionate about working with students of all levels, to build skills from the ground up and consolidate their own way of learning. I know how overwhelming school can be, but I also know how to make things click. I’m all about breaking tricky concepts into bite-sized, understandable chunks and helping you build confidence in your own ability.
Between studying Law, I love to go for runs, watch the latest movies and bake various French pastries.
