Hello, Guys! 👋
Hi there, I’m Will! My tutoring journey began back in Year 11, when one of my teachers asked if I could help a few Year 8 students with maths before school on Friday mornings. I said yes – and it’s honestly been one of the best decisions I’ve made so far.
Over the past 5+ years, I’ve loved every minute of tutoring and have developed strong communication skills, along with the ability to “step into the marker’s mind” – understanding exactly what assessors are looking for, what’s relevant, and how to structure answers for maximum marks. Alongside private tutoring, I also have extensive teaching and mentoring experience at the University of Sydney, where I support undergraduate biomedical engineering students through tutorials, mentoring programs, and academic support initiatives. This university-level teaching has strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs and abilities.
Outside of tutoring, I’ve recently completed studying a double degree in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Sciences at the University of Sydney. I also enjoy spending time with friends and playing or watching sport – particularly tennis and Formula 1.
So if you’re looking for a young, passionate, and experienced tutor who can tailor learning to maximise you or your child’s potential, feel free to reach out!
