Hi, I am Tiancong Shen. I graduated from high school in 2023 with an ATAR of 99.80 and am currently studying Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Honours) at UNSW. I achieved raw study scores of 46 in Mathematical Methods, 44 in Specialist Mathematics, and 44 in Physics. My main tutoring subjects are VCE Methods, Specialist Maths, and Physics and I’m also happy to support younger year levels.

My teaching style is step-by-step, concept-focused, and exam-oriented. I customise lessons to the student’s needs, re-teaching core concepts from the fundementals or working through homework/SAC/exam questions in detail after independent attempts. I provide high-quality resources including my handwritten notes, a broad set of past papers and mock exams, and targeted custom practice for weak areas. So far, all my VCE students have met their goals and entered their first-preference university courses, with two students achieving raw 40+ in VCE Maths or Physics.
Outside academics, I’m passionate about civil aviation, linguistics (I also study Japanese and Arabic), and badminton. I strongly believe students perform best when they have both academic direction and healthy personal interests.
