Hi there! I'm Elaine and as a fresh VCE graduate I understand that school can be difficult; that's why I am here to make things a little easier for you, whether your goal is to be top of the class or simply maintain on track with schoolwork.

Having experience mentoring younger students as a youth support worker in the past few years, I matured the vital skills of teaching content in an efficient yet digestible way whilst keeping it engaging. More importantly, I formulated the philosophy that tutoring is more than just robotic academic assistance. It is about getting to know each student on a personal level, considering their goals in studying, their ongoing lifestyle and adapting to their unique learning styles in order to ultimately building their confidence in learning.

As I was part of the school's accelerated learning program, I completed 8 VCE subjects and graduated with a 99.10 ATAR and was the school's subject DUX in two subjects (Health and Human Development, Art Creative Practice). I would love to teach you the tips in balancing extracurriculum activities whilst still being on top of schoolwork as well as be your mentor to any general queries about high school and productivity.

I am currently completing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne, but outside academics, I am a casual piano player, sometimes painter and would love to have a chat about my pet dog or travelling.

Ultimately, school is definitely a lot easier with someone experienced to guide you along the way and I hope to offer a tailored, effective and enjoyable tutoring experience to help you achieve your own versions of success.
