UNSW City Planning Honours Student and dedicated tutor for Business Studies, Geography, Studies of Religion, having received 90+ scores in each.
I cater my tutoring to the needs of my students, adapting my style to ensure we can work effectively together. I am patient and easygoing, understanding that high school is hard enough and a supportive, informative mentor is of value for many tutoring students.
I have experience tailoring learning and studying towards an individuals educational needs, ensuring that students not only improve the quality of their work but come to enjoy the course content as it is tailored to them. I work actively with students using developed teaching strategies to make meaningful progress and foster genuine interest and investment in the outcomes of their work.
As a City Planning student, I love learning and teaching others about business and the built environment through subjects such as Business Studies (94), DT (97) and Geography (92).
I believe that as a tutor I have a responsibility to learn who my student is and tailor my lessons to their personality and academic needs. I have developed strategies for managing exam anxiety and can offer guidance for study skills and routines.
