Sarah
Hey! I'm Sarah, and I graduated in from Emmanuel College with an ATAR of 97.45 and graduated as salutatorian of the cohort. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Western Australia, and have received offers including an offer to study Medicine at The University of Kent in the UK. Throughout high school I held a general excellence scholarship, was a member of the Monash University Scholars Program, and received various awards ranging from academic to sporting awards.
I am excited to be offering tutoring in subjects that I'm passionate about and have a great deal of enjoyment towards, specifically VCE Psychology and VCE History - Revolutions, as well as years 1-10 English. As someone who recently graduated, I strongly remember the frustration and difficulty at times experienced by those undertaking VCE. I'm here to remind students that it is doable, and myself and many others are strong proof of that. Through my tutoring experience I have been able to share my passion for such subjects, whilst helping students gain confidence to achieve their best. I strongly believe in the importance of work-life balance, and frequently share tips and knowledge to allow my students to maximise their potential in the classroom; in addition to being fulfilled in various other aspects of their lives. Alongside sharing knowledge on learning and the importance of fundamentals, I endeavour to help students in a holistic way; whether that be through sharing advice, or helping build effective habits that will remain with them throughout learning journey and beyond.
