Hi, I'm Namira! I'm a recent graduate, from Suzanne Cory Highschool, of the November International Baccalaureate program of 2025. Everyone always asks me why I took IB, given that everyone seems to believe it is much harder than the Australian curriculums. That assumption comes from the sheer amount of stuff we have to remember over the two years. But to be honest? That's what excited me.
I loved the idea of not just memorising facts but learning concepts so well that I'd remember them in my sleep five years later. I loved being taught in a way that helped me understand, not just know the information and thats exactly how I want to teach you guys!
I want my teaching to be the difference between information going in one ear and out the other, and it being hammered into your brain. But don't worry, I promise you'll enjoy it!
Over the years, I have developed a multitude of different learning and memorisation techniques, as well as a knack for detailed yet condensed note taking (all of which will be available to you!!!). I hope to teach you the things it took me two years to learn so you can get that headstart, or extra push at the end of your journey!
As a recent graduate, I have the newest information on the syllabuses and marking styles. On top of my handmade resources, I have rubrics for my teachers to help in Internal Assessment, Extended Essay and TOK assessment writing.
