Hello there!! My name’s Minh, and I’m studying Advance Science (Honours) at the university of Queensland. Throughout high school, I developed what is now my passion for problem solving, critical reasoning and intuition, necessary to excel in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics. In the end, I achieved a 99.50 ATAR, snagged a subject dux of Chemistry, and got full internal marks for both Physics and Chemistry along the way! I strongly believe your understanding in these subjects - rather than just memorisation - is key to truly mastering the content required for tackling higher-level questions. That's why I love breaking down complex (and sometimes daunting) concepts and questions into their bare basics, to cut out the otherwise overwhelming fluff and focusing on understanding the “why” underneath. Whether you’re aiming to upgrading your marks from a C to a B, or maintain your flawless record, I’d love to help build your confidence, through honing your internal assessments, refining your existing understanding, or anything in between! Throughout my own learning, I’ve found the underutilised skill of recognising what you *don’t* understand best facilitates critical thinking and primes you for meaningful connections and understanding. This is what made learning so interesting to me, and exactly what my tutoring hopes to provide you.
Nowadays between my classes, I spend my time in variety of ways!
- 🫂Socially – I love spending time with the family (especially dinners at my grandmas👵) and catching up with friends.
- 🏐I am pretty passionate about lifting weights🏋and dabble in social volleyball (despite being terrible at it). I think sports is great in conjunction with academic!
- 📺Watching anime – Spend a few too many nights binging shows
