Hello, Guys! 👋

Hi! I'm Matilda. I'm currently studying a double degree in law and languages at ANU. I graduated year 12 with an ATAR of 99.75 and a high academic workload, so I know a thing or two about how to manage exam stress and build effective study habits and time management skills. During my time at school, I fell in love with mathematics & physics - but maintained a passion for creative writing and literature that has afforded me a balanced toolkit of skills I can share with my students. I've always loved school and learning, and my mission when tutoring is to spark some of that joy in my students. My aim is to make lessons fun, engaging and reduce stress, whilst stretching my students to show them just how much they can achieve in their education. Over two years of experience tutoring students from years 3-12 has taught me how to motivate students to achieve their best, explain tricky concepts with clarity, and provide feedback on assignments & study strategies that bring my students improved results. Outside of tutoring, you can find me reading, singing in various choirs, or in the kitchen engaging in some (often questionable-tasting) culinary experimentation.
