Maggie
Hello and nice to meet you!! My name is Maggie and I can't wait to guide and support you through what may now seem like a horrible high school life!
I graduated high school in WA with a 99.55 ATAR and a General Exhibition prize awarded by SCSA. I am experienced and passionate in tutoring science subjects with a focus on Chemistry and Human Biology. I spent my childhood in China so I'm also fluent in Mandarin.
Throughout high school, I had a busy extra-curricular life as well as high self-expectations in academics. I played the violin as the concert master of the school orchestra and was part of a dance crew that regularly trained and performed. Although it was difficult to balance, I developed study techniques unique to my learning style and achieved outstanding results.
Right now I'm studying Chemistry under the Bachelor of Science along with a Concurrent Diploma in Pure Mathematics at the University of Melbourne.
To me, a tutor is the catalyst to a student's learning. Not only providing valuable insights into learning techniques and skillsets acquired from my own experience, but also giving my students the necessary ingredients for building their own toolset to succeed! I love approaching tasks in different ways which each brings about the best solution possible. So with each student and each subject, I aim to work together in building unique learning strategies designated to your own passion and personality to help you achieve academic success.
