Hey!! I'm Lucia - a dedicated and experienced KIS Academic tutor - and I hope to work with you to achieve your academic goals! The sky is the limit!
I graduated high school in 2020 as the Dux Proxime Accessit with a 99.85 ATAR. Since then I have completed a Bachelor of Medical Science, and I am now studying the Doctor of Medicine at Griffith University on the Gold Coast!
Whilst studying at university, I have also taken up a role as a tutor. Over the past few years, I have tutored all kinds of students - from as young as year 4 to as old as year 12 students preparing for their external exams, and everything in between!
This work experience has allowed me to develop many essential skills as a tutor. I believe the key difference between a good tutor and a great one is the ability to take typically difficult and challenging topics and teach them in a way that is simple and fun – this is one of the many skills I can offer through my tutoring service.
I love to have a laugh and as such, I try and make my tutoring environment as exciting and supportive as possible, whilst maintaining productivity and motivation.
When I am not studying at university, or tutoring my students, I love to spend time at the beaches here on the Gold Coast, whether that be swimming or trying to surf – “trying” being the key word!
