Leo
Hey everyone, welcome to my page!
My name is Leo, and I have graduated from Brisbane Boys’ College in 2024, currently studying a bachelor of commerce and bachelor of laws at the University of Sydney.
Having tutored a wide range of different student in various subjects, including physics, specialist mathematics and economics during year 12 and after graduation, I consider myself as someone who is flexible in teaching styles and can tailor lesson structures, learning materials and pace in accordance with individual student needs. (I am also very patient and easy-going!) During the lessons, I aim to create a relaxed environment, and to thoroughly break down different parts of the problem or assignment, and teach my students how to ‘think’, using the correct thinking process to approach questions, instead of how to ‘do’ individual questions. This way, students can hopefully tackle similar questions more smoothly.
Outside of academics, I love hiking, skiing, playing piano, chess, and basketball. I am also a Golden State Warriors fan (followed them since 2015). I’m also a recreational hiker who loves to stay outdoors and constantly explore new tracks.
So, if you are a student between year 5 and 12 who’s currently looking for help in subjects including science, maths, economics, whether it’s about assignments, exams, IA exams (if you are in year 12), or the externals, feel free to reach out to me and I would love to have a chat!
