Hello! I'm Lara, and I’m a recent graduate of the IB Diploma Program.
My passion for tutoring started in Year 10 when I did work experience as a secondary school math teacher. I loved helping students understand new concepts, and since then, I’ve tutored numerous classmates and younger students, supporting them in achieving their academic goals.
During school, I was awarded subject prizes as the top Year 12 student in IB Mathematics Analysis and Approaches SL, IB Psychology HL, and IB Sports, Exercise & Health Science HL. I also worked incredibly hard to achieve a 94% in French HL as a non-native speaker, and I was especially proud to earn a 7 in IB Physics SL—a subject that terrified me at the start of Year 11!
As a tutor, I bring patience, kindness, and enthusiasm to every session. When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me playing or watching soccer, learning Spanish on Duolingo, or walking my labradoodle around Melbourne.
