Lalita
Hello there! My name is Lalita. In school teaching through a PowerPoint meant that I didn’t take in anything, so I am here to make sure you don’t have to waste your time as well. I graduated from the International School of Western Australia with an ATAR of 99.95 and my goal as your tutor is to think outside of the box and go above and beyond to make sure you achieve your academic goals. Throughout year 12 I managed the stress load of schoolwork with a rigorous calendar, a to-do list, folders full of work and notes, and flashcards! Being a visual learner meant that I had to think of my own personalised ways of learning whether this was drawing diagrams or making learning interactive. Once understanding my way of learning in school, I then found similar learning patterns in the students I taught from years 5-10 in both Maths and English. Providing them with a new learning perspective and creative ideas on remembering content. Ultimately being a rewarding experience through seeing them excel in a subject they once struggled and disliked. After graduating I am confident to say I have a good understanding of the subjects I am passionate about such as Maths, English, Biology, and years 5-10 Science! (So only a few haha). I can provide a new, and clear perspective on solving a problem, making me love and feel passionate about teaching. In recent times, I go to the gym, play volleyball and volunteer at a dog rescue home. As you can probably tell I love doing things for people and take genuine care and effort in everything I do. I look forward to meeting you and feel free to contact me as soon as possible to help you achieve the very best you can!
