Hi there, I'm King Yiu and I'm currently studying the Bachelors and Masters of Engineering at UQ. I graduated in St Peters Lutheran College with an ATAR of 98.9. I focused mainly on STEM based subjects in highschool, which includes Methods (97), Specialist (95), Physics (98), Engineering (97), and Chinese (99), therefore I have a deep understanding on the current highschool cirriculum.
I've been tutoring a few students since January 2024 while I was in Year 12 of highscool, and I've helped them improve on both their assignments and assessments, so I can help you improve your grades in any school work.
My approach to tutoring is to be adaptable no matter if you're a fair performing student aiming to improving your grades, or an exemplary student striving or even higher grades. I can break down complex topics that we might come across into small digestible packets of information and walk through the process with you together, and I can ensure that you will understand the concepts fully.
A fun fact about myself is that I've also tutored a group of seven kids in Badminton from January to July 2024, and I enjoy playing badminton, guitar, and go to the gym.
