Kaylen
Hi! My name is Kaylen and I am currently studying the Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. Although I've set my career path to be health-focused, I've always had a soft spot for maths. It was my best field of study in high school and I was (and still am) a big nerd for maths. I thoroughly immersed myself into the problem-solving aspect of mathematics, as it always challenged to weave multiple foundational concepts in unique ways I had never seen before. As a coach, I'll take on two roles: a maths tutor and a mentor. As a maths tutor, I will evolve your learning beyond what is brought upon in the school classroom. You won't just be taught content. You will be taught skills. Skills that require constant refining to be able to excel in mathematics. Skills that will edge you closer and closer to the dream score you want to achieve. However, getting a tutor is no magical cure. Ultimately, I provide you with the resources required to do well, and it is simply up to you to act on that. That makes it better. Because the reason you'll do so well is because of _you, _not me. As a mentor, I'm about the stuff outside of your numerical mark. It's not good enough for me to just help you achieve the score you want. In fact, the real gem in tutoring is helping you guys build the accountability, maturity, organisational skills, and resilience needed to step into life beyond high school. As someone who has been through periods of life from perfectly juggling full-time university with multiple jobs, a relationship and hobbies to experiencing burn out for months on end, I want to be able to help you navigate through your highs and lows in school. If you've read up to this point. Thank you very much and I hope I've convinced you to reach out to me. I look forward to being on this journey with you. Much love <3
