Hi everyone! I’m Kartiya and I graduated as the dux of VCE English in my cohort and achieved a perfect 50 study score in the subject.
Like many of you, I spent years feeling overwhelmed and anxious about how to study. Teachers often say “do what works best for you,” but figuring out what that actually means can feel impossible. That’s where having an attentive, dedicated, student-focused tutor can make all the difference. My approach is centred on getting to know each student personally - understanding their strengths, weaknesses, learning style, and goals - and tailoring each lesson to help them grow with confidence.
Having balanced a busy year as House captain, dance, and other co-curricular activities during VCE, I would say I learnt a thing or two about studying in a way that doesn’t stop you from doing the things you love. That’s why I’m committed to ensuring that you too are working SMARTER, not HARDER: achieving amazing results, while STILL having a life! Outside the classroom, I spend most of my time with my nose stuck in a good book, dancing, or spending time with friends, and am currently studying a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce at Monash University.
