Kartiya

Hi everyone! I’m Kartiya and I graduated as the dux of VCE English in my cohort and achieved a perfect 50 study score in the subject.

Like many of you I’m sure, I grew more and more overwhelmed, anxious, and confused about HOW to study as my school years went on. Like me, you’ve probably heard your teachers tell you to “do what works best for you,” but how exactly do you figure out what truly works? That’s where an attentive, dedicated, and incredibly student-focused tutor may come in handy, who prioritises tailoring their lesson plans to the unique needs and capabilities of the student, and is willing to assess and cater to their unique learning styles and personal goals (that’s me!).

Having balanced a busy year as House captain, dance, and other co-curricular activities during VCE, I would say I learnt a thing or two about studying in a way that doesn’t stop you from doing the things you love. That’s why I’m committed to ensuring that you too are working SMARTER, not HARDER, can achieve amazing results, AND STILL have a life! Apart from tutoring, I spend most of my time with my nose stuck in a good book, dancing, or spending time with friends, and am currently studying a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce at Monash University.
