Hello, Guys! 👋

Hi I’m Jolie! I completed the HSC as an All Round Achiever and I’m currently studying Bachelor of Economics at the University of Sydney.

During HSC, I've wasted too much time studying using ineffective methods, and wasted even more time grappling with basic concepts that were poorly taught in school. My goal is to make sure that you don't have to do the same :)

Having experienced private tutoring in Year 11 and 12, I truly understand the value of having a supportive tutor. Prior to tutoring, I struggled with understanding concepts and wasted countless hours reading textbooks and scouring online resources. As a result, I began to hate the subject because of its difficulty. However, with private tutoring, my tutor used simple diagrams and bullet points to break them down, and suddenly everything clicked. After a few lessons, I grew to enjoy what I was learning.

Now, I’ve become experienced in simplifying complex ideas to ensure they are easily understandable and memorable for my students. I’ve also guided students to effectively transfer their knowledge onto exam papers, ensuring they produce high-quality answers that meet all marking requirements.

In my free time, you'll often find me cozying up on the couch, catching a great movie with my friends. I'm also a massive fan of board games and card games, with Monopoly and Bridge being my favourites.
